Albania vs. Spain is a tale about a decent, hard-working side with great recent results, about to be demolished by a giant which is hungry for success.
Some would argue that there is more to the game than that simple statement, but we believe the truth is simple and intuitive this time around.
Albania vs Spain – 9th October
After their first qualification in history at a European Final tournament, where they even won a game (1-0 against Romania), Albania started this qualification group with two wins, against Macedonia and Liechtenstein.
They sit at 6 points, ahead of Spain and Italy, and are in the middle of their most successful generation of all time. Will these performances, plus home ground advantage, be enough to stop Spain from racking up yet another win?
We think not. After an 8-0 win over Liechtenstein and a very, very good away game versus Italy, the Spanish seem on fire. The most encouraging fact is their actual game, which is very creative, active and offensive, just like in the campaigns which ended with them winning European and World titles.
Their players are in top form at the moment and their coach has plenty of solutions on the bench as well, meaning they can easily rest 4-5 players and still line up a competitive line-up. Just think about this: after Diego Costa played against Italy from the 1st minute, they can sub him with Morata now.
Albania vs Spain Betting Tips
That, among other great solutions, is the reason why we think Spain will win this game. Also, we believe they will put at least 2 or 3 goals past the Albanian defense, meaning that a Spain -1,5 bet is also great.
Last but not least, if you have the option of betting on possession, go with something groud-braking, like over 66% for the Spanish side. And, of course, over 2,5 or 3,5 goals – possibly coupled with a solo away win.
Total Goals – Over 2.5: 1.95 or 19/20
