Arsenal – Bournemouth is one of the most interesting games of this weekend. Although we usually have only one or two ideas of bets for one game, we have several for this clash, due to the nature of the two opponents and the situation they find themselves in. Let’s begin our analysis!
Arsenal vs Bournemouth – 27/11/2016
FT Result: Arsenal 1.40 or 2/5 Draw 5.00 or 4/1 Bournemouth 9.00 or 8/1
Total Goals Over/Under 2.5: Over 1.57 or 4/7 Under 2.35 or 27/20
Both Teams To Score: Yes 1.75 or 3/4 No 2.00 or 1/1
The Gunners were league leaders just a few fixtures ago, but 3 draws in their last 5 games have now placed them 4th, only three points behind leaders Chelsea.
2 of these draws happened against top-class opposition, Tottenham, and Manchester City, while the another one was a rather disappointing home game against Middlesbrough.
They are still sitting on the 1 loss which happened against Liverpool on day one and are undefeated since, and have won their previous two games against Bournemouth with the same score: 2-0.
They do have some injuries – Bellerin, Cazorla, Mertesacker and Perez – but have quite enough squad depth to overcome them.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth seems like the typical lower-midtable club who doesn’t need to worry about relegation but won’t push for anything greater this season.
They have a single win away from home, last weekend at Stoke, and a negative goal difference, 14-16. Most of the points they’ve won came at their home ground and they need the three points a lot less than their opponents.
Arsenal vs Bournemouth Betting Tips
That being said, the first bet we want to recommend is the standard solo home win. Also, Arsenal over 1,5 goals is a good idea, since we do believe the Gunners will score more than once, but a handicap victory might be too much.
Also, we think Bournemouth will score as well like they’ve done in most of their away games through their quick players.
If you don’t believe so, an over 2,5 goal bet is another good idea – focuses on the fact that we have two offensive teams pinned against each other. Sanchez and Giroud are our favorite goalscorers of the day. Lots of ideas to pick from this time around!
