After a long break caused by international games, fans from all over the world are eagerly expecting the restart of the UEFA Champions League.
After two games played in each group, we are at the point where teams cannot take the competition lightly. They now face a double against a fellow group member, which will decide their final standing in the group.
Bayer Leverkusen vs Tottenham – 18/10/2016
In group E, the double we find most interesting starts on German territory, where Bayer Leverkusen host English high-flying club Tottenham.
They go into this game without two of their stars, Bender and Bellarabi, and after a rather embarrassing defeat against Werden Bremen in the Bundesliga.
Their form so far has been the definition of inconsistent, alternating games like a 2-0 win over Dortmund with losses against Frankfurt or Bremen.
If they want to qualify from this group, they need a good result at home – anything else than a win would complicate their situation very much.
Meanwhile, Tottenham is in very, very fine form. From their defeat against Monaco on Day 1, the team beat CSKA in the CL, while also winning almost all their games in the domestic league, including a 2-0 victory over Guardiola’s Man City.
They do have some squad problems of their own since they can’t rely on Alderweireld or Harry Kane, but these issues seem far less important than those of Leverkusen.
Bayer Leverkusen vs Tottenam Betting Tips
Given this information and comparing the current form of the two teams, we’re going to favor Tottenham – although slightly. The good news for the Germans is that the Spurs would be perfectly content with a draw, although a defeat would impact their chances heavily as well.
X2 is our favorite bet here, even Tottenham +1,5 if you’re looking for something extremely safe. We’d say an over 1,5 goal bet is another good idea, but no more than this- since the Spurs are known to defend very well, especially away from home.

Champions League Football Predictions And Betting Tips
Spring is just around the corner, and we all know what this means! Depending on what your passions are, the answer to may vary, of course – but since you’re stumbled across this article on this particular website, we can assume that you’re a football fan. Domestic leagues are quickly coming to an end, cups are playing finals and final stages, and even the big competitions are down to the last eight: the Champions League and the Europa League. That being said, fluff and sub-par clubs are all out the window. Only the best of the best have remained in contention for the biggest club trophy in the world. Out of these 8 teams, almost all have a realistic shot…
Porto – Leicester is one of the most interesting games of this week’s Champions League, for a wide variety of reasons, almost none of which relate to the English Champions. Porto vs Leicester City – 07/12/2016 Betting Odds FT Result: Porto 1.35 or 7/20 Draw 5.25 or 17/4 Leicester City 11.00 or 10/1 Total Goals Over/Under 2.5: Over 1.85 or 17/20 Under 1.95 or 19/20 Both Teams To Score: Yes 2.25 or 5/4 No 1.57 or 4/7 Porto can qualify in only…
Although Leverkusen and Monaco are already qualified, Group E still gives us an interesting clash: Tottenham vs CSKA Moscow. The two teams haven’t been up to their normal standards of quality in the CL so far, but surely want to play European soccer – even if it is in the Europa League. Tottenham have a slight advantage, but will it prove to be enough? Group H is one of the interesting ones for this week. Although Juventus and Sevilla are more or less sure of their qualification places, they still need to figure out who will win the group. While Sevilla has a very hard game against Lyon, Juventus are hosting the weakest team of the group stage, Dinamo Zagreb. A win would ensure first place – can they get it? Juventus vs Dinamo Zagreb – 07/12/2016 Betting Odds FT Result: Juventus 1.12 or 1/8 Draw 10.00 or 9/1 Dinamo 26.00 or 25/1 Total Goals Over/Under 2.5: Over 1.44 or 4/9 Under 2.70 or 17/10 Both Teams To Score: Yes 2.62 or 13/8 No 1.44 or 4/9 Our analysis tells us that Juventus should…
The last day of the Champions League group stage is one of the hardest to predict. Teams are either qualified and have no desire to field their best eleven, or are clinging to the last chance to play European football in spring as well. Sadly for the spectacle of the CL, Bayer Leverkusen and Monaco are already qualified before their direct game and are both sure of their positions in the group. Bayer vs Monaco – 07/12/2016 Betting Odds FT Result: Bayer 1.80 or 4/5 Draw 3.80 or 14/5 Monaco 4.75 or 15/4 Total Goals Over/Under 2.5: Over 1.75 or 3/4 Under 2.05 or 21/20 Both Teams To Score: Yes 1.70 or 7/10 No 2.05 or 21/20 Monaco is one…
