Brighton vs Milton Keynes Dons – England FA Cup 2017 – Match Preview, Predictions & Betting Tips
We haven’t seen lots of teams outside the Premier League win the FA Cup in recent years, but there have been a few notable exceptions. Millwall and Cardiff played the FA Cup final in 2003 and 2007, although they’ve both lost it, while Wigan actually won the trophy in 2013 and relegated immediately after. One of the lower league teams which could go all the way this year is Brighton and their next game is against MK Dons.
Brighton vs MK Dons – 07 January 2017
Full Time Result: Brighton 1.5 or 1/2 Draw 4.75 or 15/4 MK Dons 7.00 or 6/1
Total Goals Over/Under 2.5: Over 1.60 or 3/5 Under 2.30 or 13/10
Both Teams To Score: Yes 1.80 or 4/5 No 1.95 or 19/20
There aren’t a lot of things to say about Brighton and Hove Albion which we haven’t already covered in our previous Sky Bet Championship analysis. The team still sits in 1st place and is unbeaten in quite a while, has the best defense in the league and is the main contender for Premier League promotion.
They have proven that their squad also has sufficient depth to be able to make a change or two in the team, so they shouldn’t be very concerned ahead of their game against MK Dons – especially since they play at home.
Meanwhile, their opponents sit 18th in League One. They surely have a squad which shouldn’t relegate from the league but have to start showing this on the field – which is probably their main objective in this period.
The FA Cup is, without a doubt, not of interest for a club that is much more worried about other aspects of their campaign so far. That being said, we think MK Dons will probably feature lots of reserve players in this fixture.
Brighton vs MK Dons Betting Tips
That being said, a home win is a no-brainer here. We think this is one of the most one-sided games from this stage of the cup which doesn’t involve a Premier League team, and expect Brighton to triumph quickly. A handicap bet (Brighton -1) is also a very good idea, at much higher odds.
Asian Handicap Full Time: Brighton -1, -1.5 @ 1.98 or 50/51 with 138
Total Team Goals: Brighton Over 2.5 @ 2.45 or 29/20 with 138
England FA Cup Predictions And Betting Tips
The 3rd round of the FA Cup showed us some very surprising results. Southampton’s game against Norwich almost didn’t make this list of surprises, but the Canaries managed to score a 92nd-minute equalizer which brought them a replay. Can they produce another excellent performance, this time away from home? The FA Cup is one of the few competitions in the world which still favors a replay system. If two teams draw any time before the semi-finals, the game is replayed with the original away team as the new hosts. This leads to some teams having packed calendars, as is the case of Liverpool – who have to play minnows Plymouth for the second time in a short interval. Plymouth vs Liverpool – 18/01/2017 Match Odds At Online Football Betting Sites Full Time Result: Plymouth 11.00 or 10/1, Draw 6.00 or 5/1, Liverpool 1.30 or 3/10 Total Goals Over/Under 2.5: Over 1.57 or 4/7, Under 2.35 or 27/20 Both Teams To Score: Yes 1.95 or 19/20, No 1.80 or 4/5…
With the FA Cup coming to its latter stages, the games become more and more balanced. Each round, we now see a good number of replays, that take their toll on the team’s domestic schedule and, for some, their European fixtures as well. Thankfully, Crystal Palace and Bolton are not involved in European Cups, but they evidently wanted to avoid this second clash between them. Crystal Palace vs Bolton – 17/01/2017 Match Odds At Football Betting Sites Full Time Result: Crystal Palace 1.61 or 8/13, Draw 4.10 or 31/10, Bolton 6.00 or 5/1 Total Goals Over/Under 2.5: Over 1.85 or 17/20, Under 1.95 or 19/20 Both Teams To Score: Yes 1.90 or 10/11, No 1.90 or 10/11 That is particularly…
Burnley vs. Sunderland was one of the few clashes involving only Premier League teams in the third round, and we’ll now have the chance to see it again, thanks to the 0-0 draw in the first match between the two sides. While Burnley sits rather comfortably just below the middle of the Premier League standings, Sunderland will clearly favor their relegation battle over this game. Can we see an easy home victory here? Burnley vs Sunderland – 17/01/2017 Match Odds At Football Betting Sites Full Time Result: Burnley 1.95 or 19/20, Draw 3.60 or 13/5, Sunderland 4.20 or 16/5 Total Goals Over/Under 2.5: Over 2.00 or 1/1, Under 1.80 or 4/5 Both Teams To Score: Yes 1.80 or 4/5, No…
Bristol City vs Fleetwood Town – England FA Cup 2017 – Match Preview, Predictions & Betting Tips Bristol City – Fleetwood Town is yet another game from the FA Cup Third Round where a Championship Team meets a League One team. Bristol City vs Fleetwood Town – 07 January 2017 Full Time Result: Bristol 1.75 or 3/4 Draw 3.90 or 29/10 Fleetwood 5.00 or 4/1 Total Goals Over/Under 2.5: Over 1.80 or 4/5 Under 2.00 or 1/1 Both Teams To Score: Yes…

In the 3rd round, Barnsley, a good team from the Championship, will play with Blackpool, one of the most spectacular teams of the least 10 years in terms of promotions and relegations. Is this one of the most unbalanced games of the stage, or will Blackpool produce the upset? Blackpool vs Barnsley – 07 January 2017 Full Time Result: Blackpool 3.50 or 5/2 Draw 3.60 or 13/5 Barnsley 2.15 or 23/20 Total Goals Over/Under 2.5: Over 1.80 or 4/5 Under 2.00 or 1/1 Both Teams To Score: Yes…
