The most surprising team in all domestic competitions last year, Leicester City, is quickly moving to become the surprising of this year’s Champions League.
After two wins in the last two games, they need 4 points from their double clash against Danish side Copenhagen to ensure their presence in the CL knockout rounds – but will it be that easy to obtain?
Leicester City vs Copenhagen – 18/10/2016
This is very, very hard to say. Leicester’s last win took place in the Champion League, 1-0 over Porto. Apart from that, they have another win over Brugge in the CL, but so far have only won two domestic games this year.
They come after a heavy defeat against Chelsea, but we’re not sure how much this matters – they tend to play without any pressure in the Champions League, knowing that anything from 1st to 3rd place in the group would be a great achievement for a first-time participant.
On the other hand, FC Copenhagen (Kobenhavn in their local language) are a far bigger threat than they seem on paper. They are no more, no less than undefeated this season – not losing a single game since they started their qualifying games against minnows Crusaders.
They are coming in England to avoid defeat yet again, and given their good squad and the balance of the group, should be more than able to do so. They clearly want to see Champions League knockout rounds this year – and we can’t think of any reason why they won’t.
Leicester City vs Copenhagen Betting Tips
From a betting perspective, games like these are a nightmare. Leicester’s form is fluctuating, to say the least, but they do play at home – meaning that even if the Danes win, they shouldn’t put more than one goal in the English net.
A Leicester (+1) bet is clear, although the odds are not exactly attractive. We do see some yellow cards in this game since they’re more than traditional in both team’s games – so go for an over 3,5 yellow cards bet rather than an outright winner.

Champions League Football Predictions And Betting Tips
Spring is just around the corner, and we all know what this means! Depending on what your passions are, the answer to may vary, of course – but since you’re stumbled across this article on this particular website, we can assume that you’re a football fan. Domestic leagues are quickly coming to an end, cups are playing finals and final stages, and even the big competitions are down to the last eight: the Champions League and the Europa League. That being said, fluff and sub-par clubs are all out the window. Only the best of the best have remained in contention for the biggest club trophy in the world. Out of these 8 teams, almost all have a realistic shot…
Porto – Leicester is one of the most interesting games of this week’s Champions League, for a wide variety of reasons, almost none of which relate to the English Champions. Leicester have qualified and are doing badly in their domestic league, which opens the door to Porto to do what’s required of them and qualify from the group as well – but will they be able to capitalize? Porto vs Leicester City – 07/12/2016 Betting Odds FT Result: Porto 1.35 or 7/20 Draw 5.25 or 17/4 Leicester City 11.00 or 10/1 Total Goals Over/Under 2.5: Over 1.85 or 17/20 Under 1.95 or 19/20 Both Teams To Score: Yes 2.25 or 5/4 No 1.57 or 4/7 Porto can qualify in only…
Although Leverkusen and Monaco are already qualified, Group E still gives us an interesting clash: Tottenham vs CSKA Moscow. The two teams haven’t been up to their normal standards of quality in the CL so far, but surely want to play European soccer – even if it is in the Europa League. Tottenham have a slight advantage, but will it prove to be enough? Tottenham vs CSKA Mosow – 07/12/2016 Betting Odds FT Result: Tottenham 1.53 or 8/15 Draw 4.33 or 10/3 CSKA Moscow 7.00 or 6/1 Total Goals Over/Under 2.5: Over 1.80 or 4/5 Under 2.00 or 1/1 Both Teams To Score: Yes 1.95 or 19/20 No 1.80 or 4/5 Actually, the Spurs have a few advantages on their…
Group H is one of the interesting ones for this week. Although Juventus and Sevilla are more or less sure of their qualification places, they still need to figure out who will win the group. While Sevilla has a very hard game against Lyon, Juventus are hosting the weakest team of the group stage, Dinamo Zagreb. A win would ensure first place – can they get it? Juventus vs Dinamo Zagreb – 07/12/2016 Betting Odds FT Result: Juventus 1.12 or 1/8 Draw 10.00 or 9/1 Dinamo 26.00 or 25/1 Total Goals Over/Under 2.5: Over 1.44 or 4/9 Under 2.70 or 17/10 Both Teams To Score: Yes 2.62 or 13/8 No 1.44 or 4/9 Our analysis tells us that Juventus should…
The last day of the Champions League group stage is one of the hardest to predict. Teams are either qualified and have no desire to field their best eleven, or are clinging to the last chance to play European football in spring as well. Sadly for the spectacle of the CL, Bayer Leverkusen and Monaco are already qualified before their direct game and are both sure of their positions in the group. Bayer vs Monaco – 07/12/2016 Betting Odds FT Result: Bayer 1.80 or 4/5 Draw 3.80 or 14/5 Monaco 4.75 or 15/4 Total Goals Over/Under 2.5: Over 1.75 or 3/4 Under 2.05 or 21/20 Both Teams To Score: Yes 1.70 or 7/10 No 2.05 or 21/20 Monaco is one…
