World Cup 2018 Qualifiers
There are a lot of interesting matches to be played over the course of a few days, and one of the easiest to predict (at least on paper) is Liechtenstein – Italy, in Group G. Can we see anything else than a complete Italian domination here?

The small state of Liechtenstein doesn’t seem to be able to produce any surprises. This year, they fall into the category of small teams which don’t gather points, together with San Marino, Moldova, Andorra or Malta, all with no points after 3 games.
They’ve scored a single goal in their narrow defeat against Israel, and managed to concede a single time against Spain in the first half – only to concede 7 more times in the second.
All in all, the team is, as always, just participating for experience in these qualifiers, without any real objective.
On the other hand, it is a known fact that Italy’s squad doesn’t have the same quality as 4 or 8 years ago. They know lack world class players almost entirely, and it’s up to the new generation to step up its game and make their home fans proud.
They’ve done fairly well so far, winning away in Israel and Macedonia (comeback after trailing 1-2) and drawing at home against Spain. They’re still very well in control of the group and can challenge for first place.
Liechtenstein vs Italy Betting Tips
From a betting perspective, it’s very hard to find a good idea here. Italy to win is a certainty, but the bookies won’t pay you for this, and the Italians can win 2-0 or 6-0.
We do think we’ll see some yellow cards in the game, at least 3 – since both teams tend to make rough tackles, and we also think that the Italians will lead both as halftime and at the final whistle.

The South American qualifiers for the World Cup are slowly but surely starting to showcase their winners and their losers.
