Stoke vs Leicester – Premier League Match Preview, Predictions & Betting Tips
When most of the European Football leagues are preparing for a short holiday period, the Premier League is going stronger than ever.
We can watch a good number of great games this Saturday, each one more interesting than the next. We’ll start our analysis with Stoke – Leicester, one of the most balanced games of this weekend.

Both Teams To Score: Yes 1.70 or 7/10 No 2.05 or 21/20
After a horrible start of the season, Stoke City do appear to have found their tempo. Their home record is fairly good, winning 10 points from their last 5 home games – the last point coming from a 0-0 draw against Southampton in midweek, where they conceded a red card early in the first half.
Overall, they are a well-balanced team, as we can see from the 17-22 goal difference and their recent form. We do expect a good performance by them at home, giving Leicester a run for their money.
On the other hand, the reigning champions are a team we absolutely hate betting on. After an awesome 4-2 win over City last weekend, Leicester has lost 0-1 away at Bournemouth, officially taking them bottom of the away standings in the league, winning a single point so far with a 6-19 goal difference.
Their head-to-head record against Stoke isn’t great either, with wins for both sides in the recent past – although most of these clashes happened in the Sky Bet Championship. An interesting fact is that both main goalkeepers are missing for this game – Butland for Stoke and Schmeichel for Leicester.
Stoke vs Leicester Betting Tips
From a betting perspective, we advise against betting on an outright result. Instead, we’re fairly certain that Stoke will score, while a “both teams to score bet” is our best recommendation of the day.
We also expect an over 2,5 goals game, along with 3-4 yellow cards between the two teams. We should be in for a spectacular game with lots of action at both ends of the pitch.
