We have now passed the half of the Champions League group stages. Some teams are hanging onto their last hopes to qualify to the knockout rounds and still have European games in spring, while others are already safe and will be looking to rotate their squad in these last games. Thankfully for us, neutral viewers, Group E doesn’t have such teams.
Tottenham vs Bayer Leverkusen – 02/11/2016
Tottenham is now looking for a rematch against Bayer Leverkusen, after a stale 0-0 draw in Germany that really didn’t help either team.
They are coming after a 1-1 draw against Leicester in the Premier League, a competition where they are impressing. Exiting the Champions League so early would be disappointing for the team, especially because they have been seeded in a rather accessible group.
A win over the Germans would send them well on their way towards qualifying since they would only need one additional win over CSKA – a much easier game.
Meanwhile, Leverkusen is having a horrible season on all fronts. They are very disappointing in their domestic league, where they only sit in 10th place with a perfect goal balance: 13-13.
Their Champions League record isn’t great either, consisting of 3 draws (2-2, 1-1 and 0-0). If they fail to win their next game, their qualification chances will be slim.
But a 3rd place finish isn’t a tragedy for the German squad, which certainly must focus on their domestic league – if they want to play in Europe next year.
Tottenham vs Bayer Leverkusen Betting Tips
That being said, Tottenham to avoid defeat is a virtual certainty here. White Hart Lane is a fortress in these times, regardless of which competition we’re speaking of. 1X for safe bets, 1 for the folk enjoying larger risks.
And if you want to bet on the number of goals, under 2,5 is a definite possibility here – Tottenham is great in defense and poor in attack these days.

Champions League Predictions And Betting Tips
Porto – Leicester is one of the most interesting games of this week’s Champions League, for a wide variety of reasons, almost none of which relate to the English Champions. Leicester have qualified and are doing badly in their domestic league, which opens the door to Porto to do what’s required of them and qualify from the group as well – but will they be able to capitalize? Although Leverkusen and Monaco are already qualified, Group E still gives us an interesting clash: Tottenham vs CSKA Moscow. The two teams haven’t been up to their normal standards of quality in the CL so far, but surely want to play European soccer – even if it is in the Europa League. Tottenham have a slight advantage, but will it prove to be enough? Group H is one of the interesting ones for this week. Although Juventus and Sevilla are more or less sure of their qualification places, they still need to figure out who will win the group. While Sevilla has a very hard game against Lyon, Juventus are hosting the weakest team of the group stage, Dinamo Zagreb. A win would ensure first place – can they get it? Juventus vs Dinamo Zagreb – 07/12/2016 Betting Odds FT Result: Juventus 1.12 or 1/8 Draw 10.00 or 9/1 Dinamo 26.00 or 25/1 Total Goals Over/Under 2.5: Over 1.44 or 4/9 Under 2.70 or 17/10 Both Teams To Score: Yes 2.62 or 13/8 No 1.44 or 4/9 Our analysis tells us that Juventus should…
The last day of the Champions League group stage is one of the hardest to predict. Teams are either qualified and have no desire to field their best eleven, or are clinging to the last chance to play European football in spring as well. Sadly for the spectacle of the CL, Bayer Leverkusen and Monaco are already qualified before their direct game and are both sure of their positions in the group. Bayer vs Monaco – 07/12/2016 Betting Odds FT Result: Bayer 1.80 or 4/5 Draw 3.80 or 14/5 Monaco 4.75 or 15/4 Total Goals Over/Under 2.5: Over 1.75 or 3/4 Under 2.05 or 21/20 Both Teams To Score: Yes 1.70 or 7/10 No 2.05 or 21/20 Monaco is one…
