Turkey vs Kosovo Match Preview, Predictions & Betting Tips – World Cup 2018 Qualifiers
In yet another game from group I of the European Qualifiers, points-hungry Turkey hosts Kosovo at home, the weakest team of the group.
The Turkish have had their fair share of disappointing results in recent past, but can Kosovo really produce any surprise away from home, in their first ever presence in World Cup qualifiers?

It’s very hard to think they will. 1 point from a 1-1 home draw against Finland is all they can boast with at the moment, although the Finnish should have won that game, in hindsight.
The following two games were very disappointing, 0-6 against Croatia and 0-3 against Ukraine. Since they play Turkey away from home, it’s hard to think they will do anything else but defend and look to play quick counter-attacks or exploit set plays.
Their lack of experience, objective and quality players defines them as one of the weakest teams in these qualifiers – but nonetheless, a team that can win points (unlike minnows like San Marino, Malta or Liechtenstein).
Meanwhile, Turkey are without a win in this group, meaning that they need points more than anything at the moment.
To be fair, they’ve played the three better teams of the group, losing 0-2 against Iceland and drawing 2-2 against Ukraine and 1-1 with Croatia.
Now, they must win 6 points from their next two encounters, with Kosovo and Finland, if they want to have any chance of qualifying from this group.
Their ambition, the quality of the squad and the determination to succeed should prove too much for the small visiting squad. Needless to say, we don’t expect surprises here.
Turkey vs Kosovo Betting Tips
This is one of the games we recommend for handicap victories. Turkey -1,5 or -2 are good bets that can take advantage of the superiority of the home side, while a solo home win is a virtual certainty.
Turkey over 1,5 goals is another bet to consider, since almost everyone scored 2 or 3 times against Kosovo. Last but not least, over 2,5 goals is another very good idea.
Take your pick, or combine some bets for optimal odds. Good Luck.
