When you hear that Harry Kane won’t be playing for Spurs in a game, you’d think this is terrible news for the home side. Actually, we’re set to make a pretty good case why this is a good thing for Tottenham – especially given the fact that they transferred Vincent Janssen this summer. Will he be able to fill in Kane’s shoes?
West Bromwich vs Tottenham Hotspur – 15/10/2016
Sometimes, we tend to forget Kane’s age – this is the first time in his career so far where he isn’t delivering what’s required of him for a longer period of time.
Janssen will step up to fill his shoes, but Tottenham played awesome so far even without Kane in top form, especially due to players like Son, Eriksen or Walker.
They are currently undefeated in this season and are currently on a winning streak, making 12 points from their last 4 games. West Brom is the next adversary in line, which isn’t as easy as it sounds.
West Brom has 3 main advantages: Their home ground, where teams hardly win, their good form, being undefeated in the last 3 games, and the fact that they don’t have any issues with injuries and suspensions.
Sadly for them, even in great form and with a full roster of players, they are well behind Tottenham in terms of quality.
Truthfully, if Pochettino manages to keep his team in their current form, they can even challenge for the title this year – and win it ahead of Guardiola and Mourinho.
West Bromwich vs Tottenham Betting Tips
That being said, we favor Tottenham to do well in this game and score once of twice. X2 is a simple bet, while a solo away win is to be considered.
We don’t expect lots of goals to be scored in the game either, and a Tottenham win and between 1 and 3 goals almost hits the sweet spot. Honestly, if West Brom manages to get any points from this game, we’d consider it a big upset.
